Procter & Gamble Internship - Brand Management in Maharashtra, India
As an intern in the Marketing function of Procter & Gamble, you will get a two-month snapshot of work as a full time Assistant Brand Manager with P&G. The intent of the internship is to give you an experience of what life would be like if you were to join P&G full time. Hence, it makes sense to describe here, what a typical Assistant Brand Manager would do in P&G. Your internship will cover some or all parts of the role described below.
An Assistant Brand Manager (ABM) is responsible for creating Marketing Plans on the brand for which he/she works. A Marketing Plan is a strategy, which identifies specific marketing decisions and actions to grow the business. These marketing decisions and actions are defined in the context of the key consumer and customer insights that an ABM is expected to develop over the course of his/her career with P&G. ABM's will also be required to analyze business results and progress by doing financial and competitive research. Beyond that, additional responsibilities include:
- Advertising - creative brief development, copy evaluation, copy clearance, commercial production and media planning.
- Promotion - promotion and pricing strategy and execution.
- Consumer / Customer Training - consumer decision-making, customer operations, customer decision-making and market segmentation.
- Complex Business and Financial Analysis.
- Interpersonal Projects - coaching & training, recruiting, multi-functional teamwork.
